From Side Hustle to Spoonfuls of Joy

Like many families, we were always on the lookout for a great side hustle—something we could do alongside our busy lives that would bring in a little extra income. We tried a few things over the years, but nothing quite stuck. That is, until we stumbled into something unexpectedly delicious… handcrafting small-batch peanut butter! 🥜

What started as a fun hobby turned into something much bigger. In the summer of 2024, we officially launched Must Be Nuts and began selling at local farmers markets—hen, on September 30th, everything changed. After what felt like a normal night at one of our last markets of the season, we packed up and went home—only to start receiving messages from people across the country begging to buy our peanut butter online. 🤯

Turns out, a customer had posted a TikTok of her husband’s emotional, teary-eyed reaction to tasting our Churrolicious peanut butter. 🥹 The video went viral—over 200,000 views in just a few hours—and suddenly, we had a nationwide audience.

Since then, it’s been a whirlwind. From viral videos to website orders and store partnerships, we’ve been blown away by the support. We’re still a small, family-run business—but we’re on a mission to spread joy, one jar at a time. 💛🥄
